so i was recently contacted by Run Hundred, a website that complies the top 10 workout tracks, that have been selected by popular vote, of the month.

so i decided that i would be posting his top ten tracks for the month each month. Here's what he had to say about this months installment "

sorry the amount of posts have slowed down this month and last, but i'm super busy with school work... with that being said i still have a little time to find songs, but not as much to post. so yesterday i was looking at my facebook and notice that ill.gates posted that figure just released his new ep entitled monsters of drumstep vol 2! I must say that it is sickkk! if you liked the first one (personally aliens VIP remix) then you'll definitely like this one...
so since last time i posted a link to his first ep to dl but i got an email and had to take it down.... so im not going to post it but you can buy it here or just search for a dl link...

so when i got the album i decided to check out some of his older stuff. and was surprised at how he was an electronic producer that transformed into the drumstep producing machine he is now... below i posted one of the older electric songs and one of the new songs off of his vol 2 ep....

Exits! B'HAM Grown!

So I introduce to you the Exits! They consist of Jordan and Tyler! and this is their first ep entitled Sophomoric
I actually didnt even know this existed until the other night when i went to hang out at Jordan and heard this. and damn i was blown away. this is just really chill music that is good for any type of mood you are in!
The first track fading away took awhile to make but was "cooked up in a bedroom and recorded at the studio in Fairhaven at Western Washington University" as well as all the others!

Dekay's Rose City ENT

Here are a few new tracks from Portland, OR own Dekay. He actually released these last week but with my first exam in physical chem i hadnt had a chance to listen to them. The first track, the northwest, im really diggin because of all the references to the northwest which is where im from and i can really relate. the second track keep on goin is sickkkk! i love the beat, oh and in case you missed my first post he makes his beats, and i love the flow it matches perfectly to the beat. im pretty sure that this was like the first song that he showed me when i first met him. def worth a listen.

ok so here are a couple trance songs, but they are slightly more up beat.... the first one has been said to be "tance 2.0" since it has slight house influence, but still sickk. the second one is a harder remix of the original (which ill post if this gets enough view and you want it (leave a comment in the comment section)).

if you hate him or love him you cant deny that the guy puts out music that you can move to! personal favorite here, but here are two newish tracks (ie came out sometime during the week but i had no time to get music this week). the second one was also featured on excisions new shambhala mix 2011.

oh i thought i would fill you in a little on my name and song titles.... so my name is mitochondria and if you are familiar with the cell then you know that the mitochondria makes pretty much all the energy for the body to move/think, etc. so i feel that my mixes pack a lot of energy...
secondly the tracks all have something to do with the order that the track was made and some scientific thing... seeing how i told you about my name and the meaning of it, ill leave you to figure out what each track title is...

This is a pretty cool track from Hopsin, that has a catchy beat and good flow. im not really a huge fan of the hook... Hopsin was signed to Easy-E record label Ruthless Records in 2007, but recently left the label because they didnt help him (which he address in the track), He takes shots at a few big names in this track such as drake, lil wayne, rick ross, lupe, soulja boy.

JDynasty! Dont Sleep on this Guy!

Today I bring to you a track sent to me from Jordan Dias, JDynasty, a 19 year old rapper hailing from Bristol,CT. He has been writing and preforming his own songs since he was nine years old, but it wasn't until his Senior year in high school that he started taking it all to the next level. All throughout school he would get yelled at for creating beats on his desks and freestyling over them, so he decided to take it to the next level by creating a mixtape entitled "I Hate My Life". He has several projects that he is working on such as getting signed, completing his music video, mixtapes, and headlining a performance which "are promised to be completed by 2012".

His main influences are Tupac, Biggie, and Jay-Z so you know that his tracks are going to replenish the hip-hop name from what it has become today. And I must say his lyrics are Great! they are a lot different than most of the "hip-hop" that you hear on the radio. He talks about real life situations that our generation faces and has great flow to his beats!

This guy is definitely worth a listen.
